Wie funktioniert eine 3D Gebäudevermessung?

We primarily capture your building using terrestrial 3D laser scanners. The scanner is set up in every room and in front of the facades, capturing up to two million 3D data points per second. Using specialized software, we combine the individual scans into a comprehensive project point cloud—a digital representation of your building accurate to the millimeter. We then use this data to create the desired 2D floor plans or 3D models in CAD.

Our scanners have a measurement accuracy of ±2–3 mm at a distance of 10 meters. The point cloud captures your building with millimeter precision—including all irregularities such as crooked walls, sagging, differences in level, or asymmetrical window reveals.

Wie lange dauert die Aufnahme vor Ort?

Accepted Answer

The duration depends on the size and complexity of the property. As a general guideline: a single-family home takes ½ to 1 workday, an apartment building takes 1–2 workdays, and larger properties take 2–5 workdays. We will provide the exact duration in our quote.

Müssen Möbel und Einrichtungen entfernt werden?

Accepted Answer

No. Only objects that completely cover load-bearing structural elements should be moved temporarily, if possible. In practice, this is rarely necessary.

From the point cloud, we can generate the following drawings: 2D floor plans, 2D sections, 2D elevation views, reflected ceiling plans, site plans, 3D CAD models, 3D BIM models, point clouds for digital as-built documentation, as well as 360° photo documentation and 3D web viewers.

In welchem CAD-System liefern Sie?

We deliver files in formats compatible with ArchiCAD (.pla/.pln), Revit (.rvt), Navisworks (.nwd), and AutoCAD (.dwg). Upon request, we can also work directly with your office template.

Costs depend on size and complexity. Estimated prices: Single-family home survey + 2D plans starting at CHF 4,500, single-family home 3D model LOD200 starting at CHF 6,000, multi-family home survey + 2D plans starting at CHF 7,500, multi-family home 3D model LOD200 starting at CHF 10,500. We offer fixed, all-inclusive prices with no hidden costs.

Braucht es für die Offerte eine Begehung vor Ort?

Accepted Answer

No. In most cases, existing documents (old plans, photos, sketches) that include the address and a brief description of the property are sufficient. We will provide a non-binding flat-rate quote within 72 hours.

A point cloud is a three-dimensional representation of a building consisting of millions of individual measurement points. Each point has precise spatial coordinates (X, Y, Z) and color information. The point cloud captures your building exactly as it is—with all its variations and irregularities. It is permanently preserved as digital as-built documentation.

Werden die Daten georeferenziert?

Upon request, we can georeference the survey data in the Swiss national coordinate system LV95/LN02. If georeferencing is not required, we use a local project coordinate system.
