3D-SCHWEIZ
Since 2016, 3D-SCHWEIZ has specialized in building surveys and the creation of precise blueprints for renovation, restoration, and expansion projects. We focus on small to medium-sized projects, where reliable as-built data forms the foundation of any effective planning.
On-site surveying is performed using 3D Laserscanning, GNSS, drone imagery, and total stations, depending on the project. Using the survey data collected, we create precise 2D drawings (floor plans, sections, elevations, site plans) in accordance with SIA standards, as well as 3D models in the CAD system of your choice: ArchiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD.
CAD analysis is carried out in collaboration with partner companies; surveying, quality assurance, customer relations, and project management are handled by 3D-SCHWEIZ.

The person behind 3D-SCHWEIZ
My name is Björn Grob. Before founding 3D-SCHWEIZ, I worked in international banking for over a decade, including as a Director at Merrill Lynch, a Managing Director at UniCredit, and a Vice President at Dresdner Bank. My academic background: a BBA in Finance from the Bern University of Applied Sciences, supplemented by certifications as a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
In 2016, I made the switch and turned my attention to a new field: the three-dimensional surveying and digitization of buildings. What began as a self-taught foray into the world of 3D laser scanning has now evolved into a well-established network combining surveying, CAD analysis, and quality assurance.
The mindset and approach I developed in banking continue to shape every project I undertake: precision in analysis, reliability in commitments, and transparency in pricing. I keep the promises I make to my clients—regarding deadlines, pricing, and quality.
